This morning I finally managed to get up early to give city running a shot. I will have to do that constantly in the future, for (even with the daylight saving) it's still getting dark before 8pm, sunset is around 7:39pm at the moment. I had decided to do the Anzac Bridge, a longe one facing Glebe Point and promissing a nice view. I planned the track at home, but neither took the traffic lights into consideration nor some quite steep hills within Glebe and Annandale. I planned to be back after 50min, this obviously didn't work out, as I got lost twice. Although I looked at a map before leaving the house, it wasn't too easy to find the ramp to the pedestrian walk over the bridge and later I took a false road in Camperdown (although I should know the area). As it got hot durning my run (don't know degrees, at the moment it's
86°F) I felt exhausted afterwards (might go together with a lack of training the last weeks) and was a little late for work. It also came back to my mind, that I agreed to play tennis today, which is great fun every week (Did I mention, that we got two courts?), so I might have an early night as well...
